- 6 large jalapeno peppers
- 4 oz cream cheese softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray or oil for baking or frying
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat oil in a fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Slice the jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Fill each jalapeno half with the cheese mixture.
Place the flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs in three separate bowls.
