A little over a year ago, the former Dan’s Drive-In on the south side was converted into Tio’s Diner, a family-run Mexican joint that offers Mexican fare along with some classic American breakfasts.

The space still feels like the old car, with some decor updates.

On the breakfast menu, you’ll find traditional American breakfasts like eggs and bacon, pancakes, French toast, steak and eggs. But definitely look no further than the Mexican breakfast like this one Huevos a la Mexicana with scrambled eggs, chorizo, vegetables, rice and beans.
