There’s always a lot going on in the Columbus restaurant world! Here’s the latest:
- Stacked Burger Co. officially opens next Monday, November. 18 at 1089 Worthington Woods Blvd. in Worthington. Describing itself as a “modern burger joint,” Stacked offers burgers, sandwiches, and sides like fries, onion rings, and fried Brussels sprouts. The burger joint was created by Jordan Lamatrice, who grew the business out of Alphabetical Comfort Kitchen, which ran a stand in the Budd Dairy Food Hall.
- Marlow’s Cheesesteaks quietly opened its new stand in North Market Downtown this week. The Philadelphia-style sandwich shop first opened in 2022 in Gahanna before taking over the former Alphabetical location at Budd Dairy. A full grand opening is coming soon.
- After 41 years in business, Raisin Rack Natural Food Market at 2545 W. Schrock Rd. in Westerville closed. The market announced the closure last week and remained open until midday yesterday until its stock was sold off. Raisin Rack in Canton, Ohio remains open.

- The Sending shared the news that chef Josh Dalton, owner of Veritas and Speck Italian Eatery, will open a third downtown restaurant called Rosalita’s in the Madison-White Haines buildings currently under renovation on North High Street, just north of Gay . It is slated to open later in 2025.
- Masa Mexican Grill in East Market soft opened a new concept there called Masa Salad and Fruit. The stall allows you to make your own salad bowls with vegetables, greens, proteins and dressings.
- Halwani’s Pizza & Stromboli has announced it is opening a third location at 5837 Sawmill Rd., potentially a soft opening next week. This new store combines locations in Grandview and Hilliard.
- This weekend, Nov. 15-17, the new owners of Buns Restaurant in Delaware are celebrating its grand re-opening. Events also marking the restaurant’s 160th anniversary include a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. Saturday.
