Thai Iced Lime Tea is quick and easy to make: just make sure you have enough ice and it can be made in 5 minutes! It’s always a big hit at barbecues, and you can easily make a grown-up version by adding a little of your favorite hard liquor.
Thai tea blend. I usually go for the Number One brand, but Pantai Thai Tea Mix is also quite popular. Both have an orange color to give the tea its traditional color after brewing.
Limes. If you are ordering this drink from outside the US, you may hear tai “lemon“tea instead”var“. But the authentic version is made with limes instead of lemons. Key limes are sharper and give the drink a stronger flavor, but you can make this lime with lemons and still get a delicious drink.
Prefer to use fresh lime juice for this recipe, as store-bought can give this drink an artificial taste.

Step 01. Add 3 tablespoons of Thai tea to 1 cup of boiling water. Leave to steep for 5 minutes, then pour the tea through a fine mesh.

Step 03. Add ice, water, lime juice and sugar to a jug. Pour the tea with the linden. Stir to combine.
