JT’s Pizza and Pub has long been one of our favorite places for pizza, wings and snacks. Their Linworth shop is constantly bustling with dine-in guests and take-out orders, to the point where they are bursting at the seams.
Now they’ve expanded in the form of a large second location, this one on Goodale Boulevard as part of a new development in Grandview!
This new location has all the trappings of a classic sports bar, complete with televisions lining most of the walls.
They also have a full bar: beer, wine, cocktails, spirits. I can confirm that Great Lakes Christmas beer goes well with some pizza. (As if there was any doubt.) JT’s regularly offers special Maker’s Mark barrels made just for them.
Definitely don’t miss JT’s appetizers. There are all kinds of fried goodies.
I’m a big fan of them provolone wedges. They are well breaded, not greasy. And JT’s marinade is a winner.
You can’t argue with either mini corndogs.
And the fried pickle chips! Just like the provolone wedges, they are well breaded and not too greasy.
JT’s is primarily a pizza place, but their wings are equally good. They offer traditional and boneless wings with more than a dozen sauces. Our personal favorite – and one of the most popular choices – is Greg’s Sauce.
Their menu also includes calzones, sandwiches and salads, like this one buffalo chicken salad.
JT’s features Columbus-style pies, square-cut and with thin biscuit crusts. I love a good “supreme” style pizza like JT’s Favorite of the founder.
Don’t delay on Chicken Bacon Ranch.
And they rotate through a number of specials. They currently serve a Racha Rangoon Pizza.
JT’s in Grandview is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; happy hour is open from 3pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday!
