

There’s always a lot going on in the Columbus restaurant world! Here’s the latest:
- The owners of Ghostwriter Public House in Johnstown have announced that the restaurant will temporarily close starting in December. 21 to January 8 to freshen up the space and update the menu. No exact details were announced.
- Pop culture-centric pizza shop Pizza Nerds has completed its move to 1376 Cherry Bottom Rd. in Gahanna and reopened this week in the former SuperChef’s shop. The shop offers specialty pies, do-it-yourself pizzas, spreads and cookies.
- The team behind pop-up Kape Coffee is wrapping up work at Wolf’s Ridge Brewing today – Friday, December. 20. The Asian-inspired cafe is coming next at Coppa Gelato in Westerville.
- Next Monday, Dec. 23 Another Broken Egg is opening a second central Ohio location at 8823 Owenfield Dr. in Powell. The chain, which originated in Louisiana, has a full bar with brunch cocktails, coffee and a mix of Southern-style dishes. The first central Ohio location opened in Easton in 2022.
- In the latest entry of cars crashing into buildings in Columbus, a car crashed into Bakersfield in the Short North this week. Fortunately, no one was injured and the business shared on social media that it was business as usual. Bakersfield is located at 733 N. High St.
