

There’s always a lot going on in the Columbus restaurant world! Here’s the latest:
- The owners of Java Central Coffee Roasters in Uptown Westerville announced this week that they will merge with Boston Stoker after 18 years in business. The store will continue under the Java Central name with the same staff and programming. You can read the full announcement on their website (linked above). Boston Stoker is based in Dayton, but has two stores in central Ohio in Grandview and Shawnee Hills.
- Grandview Vinoteca opened this week at 1306 Grandview Ave., in the former Law Bird Supply House space. It offers wines, cocktails and snacks and is open from Tuesday to Sunday.
- Three Creeks Kitchen recently debuted at 258 Granville St. in Gehenna. It occupies the former O’Toole’s Irish Pub storefront and features a modern American menu built around steaks, seafood and other entrees.
- Ragamuffins Coffee House in Alexandria will transfer ownership after Saturday, Dec. 28. The space at 9 W. Main St. it will remain a cafe under different owners.
- A reminder that Milestone 229’s last call is next week, Tuesday, December. 31. The Scioto Mile restaurant announced it will close after 14 years in business after failing to reach a lease with the city.
