There’s always a lot going on in the Columbus restaurant world! Here’s the latest:
- Following the closure of the El Camino Inn last week, its sister restaurant next door Little Palace has closed since last Wednesday. As with El Camino, the owners said they were unable to reach a satisfactory lease agreement with their landlord.
- JT’s Pizza & Pub opened its second location today – Friday, November. 29 – on Blvd. Goodale 845. in the Grandview Yard complex. JT’s first location is in Linworth; they are known for their pizzas and in particular their wings. Check out their new location here!
- The Peanut Shoppe reopened earlier this week at 4 E. Broad St. The Shoppe, which has been part of downtown Columbus since the 1930s, is under new ownership and moving from its longtime home on East State Street across from Capitol Square. Check out their new digs here!
- The North Market Downtown has announced the newest addition to its lineup of vendors, Holy Crepes! The pancake shop now has a stall at Bridge Park Market. Its opening is scheduled for December.
- Multiple sources have reported that the owners of Tortilla Street Food truck are building a food truck site in Old Hilliard, near Center Street Market and the newly opened Firefly Winery.
- This Sunday, Dec. 1, The Daily Growler hosts its annual beer and donut pairing at various locations.
